About the special issue

The purpose of the current special issue is to examine psychological issues with regard to sport-related concussion. In doing so, the current issue is the first on sport-related concussion devoted solely to psychology-related issues.

The authors in this issue describe new research findings — both quantitative and qualitative (something that is lacking in the field of concussion) — and present and discuss empirical reviews of psychological issues.
