Sign up for online teaching preparation

As part of APA's involvement in the Preparing Future Faculty in Psychology (PFF) program—a national effort to expose graduate students to faculty roles and responsibilities across different institutions—psychology students can sign up for a six-week online teaching-preparation course.

Offered by the University of New Hampshire's college teaching program, the two-credit course, "Grad 980: Preparing to Teach a Psychology Course," covers such topics as teaching philosophy, syllabus planning, text selection, classroom-management strategies, and testing and assessment. For sign-up information, go to the University of New Hampshire Web site at www.gradschool.unh.edu/pff/. For more general information on PFF and related initiatives at your university, contact APA's Paul Nelson, PhD.
