The American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS) will sponsor two additional pre-convention workshops on July 27 for students seeking education and career-planning advice:

"Graduating and practicing: planning for your career as a practitioner." Representatives of APA's Division 42 (Psychologists in Independent Practice) and APAGS will highlight ways students can carve out an innovative practice, establish professional relationships and practice self-care.

The workshop will be held 10:00—11:50 a.m. at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. The $10 registration fee can be paid at the door. To reserve a seat, e-mail Betsy Horrocks.

"So many choices: finding the right doctoral program." Presenters will offer insight into the different types of psychology doctorates—PhD, PsyD or EdD—as well as combination degrees such as PsyD/JD or PsyD/MBA. The workshop will also include information on psychology specialty areas, such as clinical, counseling, school, experimental and developmental.

This free program will be 6:00—9:00 p.m. at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. To sign up, e-mail APAGS.
