A symposium at APA's Annual Convention will give graduate students planning a career in research the chance to learn more about the National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant-making process. At the session, NIH staff will discuss how to apply for NIH research funding and training grants, answer questions and offer feedback on the research ideas of advanced graduate students and new investigators.

The session, "Meet the National Institutes of Health: opportunities for research and training," is sponsored by APA Division 40 (Clinical Neuropsychology) and will be held Friday, July 30, 8:00—9:50 a.m., in Coral Ballroom IV of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort & Spa.

For more information, contact Ronald Abeles, PhD, of the NIH Office of Behavioral and Social Science Research by email.
