Coming soon: new edition of graduate program listing

cover of Graduate Study in Psychology, 5th Edition

The 2005 edition of Graduate Study in Psychology, APA's comprehensive listing of more than 500 master's and doctoral psychology programs, is slated to be released at the end of July.

The reference book gives detailed information on psychology programs, schools and departments—such as number of faculty, degrees offered, admissions criteria, student characteristics, financial aid options and data on where graduates from specific departments found jobs. All of the listing information is culled from an annual survey APA sends to all graduate psychology departments nationwide.

APA's Research Office also contributes to a foreword in the book, which includes data on post-graduation employment trends, average levels of debt and employment areas of PhD recipients versus PsyD recipients.
