ACT honors outstanding student advocates

APAGS's Advocacy Coordinating Team (ACT) congratulates its State Advocacy Coordinators and campus representatives for their outstanding efforts as part of the ACT Network, which advocates for psychology when facing legislative issues related to the field.

The following students were recognized between December 2003 and February 2004.

The ACT Excellence in Leadership Award winners are:
Barbara Briscoe, Seattle Pacific University and state advocacy coordinator for Washington.
Konjit Page, Boston College and state advocacy coordinator for Massachusetts.

The ACT Campus Leadership Award winners are:
James Haly, University of Iowa.
Trisha Bement, Capella University.
Tina Waldron, Washburn University.
Michelle D. Harwood, University of Florida.
Nicole Frommelt, Loras College.
Ben Miller, Spalding University.
