Postdoc training program focuses on education research
A $2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Institute of Educational
Sciences (IES) aims to increase the number of psychologists conducting school-based
research by creating the Postdoctoral Education Research Training Program. A joint
effort between APA and IES, the two-year pilot program will fund 13 postdoctoral
fellowships and match fellows with a mentor to design school-based studies. While
the application deadline has passed, APA officials hope to secure additional funding
when the two-year pilot ends.

for updates on how to get involved.
